How does it work?

RoadTrakker is fitted covertly within the vehicle by specially trained technicians. Incorporating the features of a premium car alarm, RoadTrakker adds "back-to-base" monitoring and real time tracking. A simple press of a button, activates the RoadTrakker. This conveniently locks the vehicle doors and activates an engine immobilizer to provide additional resistance to theft. Sensors for Towing, Door and Boot Intrusion, Ignition Tampering and Battery Disconnection instantly detect any unauthorized entry or movement of the vehicle.

Anyone attempting to steal the car will trigger the RoadTrakker Vehicle Security system (RVS), causing a silent siren to sound, and the system to transmit a coded signal to the RoadTrakker Response Center (RRC) for immediate action.

Attempts are then made to contact the owner to verify the security of the vehicle. If the owner cannot be contacted and the security of the vehicle is in doubt, a security patrol may be dispatched. Should the vehicle be moved while the system is activated, Police are contacted via a dedicated communications link. Vehicle locations are constantly relayed to the Police by RRC operators and Police vehicles are normally dispatched to intercept the vehicle. RoadTrakker is able to remotely immobilize the vehicle, which avoids high-speed chases and increases the chances of your vehicle being returned in tact.
